Our API check valves are designed for high-pressure applications and workover equipment, where they are typically installed in pipelines to prevent fluid from flowing back. When fluid is pushed back, a retainer plate will automatically close.

The API 1502 check valves are made from high-strength alloy steel using US technologies and are equipped with unions on both ends for easy dismantling. The retainer plate is sulfidized with Buna-N, providing good sealing and a longer service life under high pressure, for both conventional and H2S environments.
