Bridge plugs are used in downhole isolation applications. The required design depends on the well program, casing dimensions, differential pressure, service conditions and the intended removal or retrieval method.
State whether the requirement is for a retrievable or permanent arrangement and identify the setting equipment to be used. Include casing size and weight, minimum internal diameter and any well restrictions.
The proposed plug and setting assembly must be reviewed as a compatible system. Performance limits and any removal procedure must come from the proposed manufacturer's documentation.
